SECTOR-Cert approved under the ASNT Program Comparison Procedure

In late September ASNT and SECTOR-Cert signed an agreement to provide access for EN 473 Certificate holders certified by examination by SECTOR to gain certification in the Pressure Equipment (PE) Sector under the provisions of the ASNT Central Certification Program (ACCP) in the MT, PT, RT, UT & VT test methods. Personnel that have been approved by SECTOR to sit for the SECTOR EN 473 examinations may also apply for the supplemental examinations so that the supplemental examinations may be taken immediately following completion of the EN 473 exams but will not receive ACCP certificates until all EN 473 and ASNT requirements have been met.

Personnel that have attained EN 473 certification through third-party certification bodies other than SECTOR-Cert or through third-party agreements such as Memorandums of Understanding or Reciprocity Agreements will not be eligible to apply for ACCP certification under this agreement.

Specific details on the application and certification process can be found in the SECTOR PCP Application Process document, and applications are available from SECTOR-Cert, who can be contacted at info@sector-cert.com.
